CT Bar Exam Moves Online: Next Steps

On July 23, the CBEC voted in a special meeting to approve an online bar exam due to public health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of the passionate testimony given in favor of diploma privilege during public comment following the vote, the CBEC will be hearing more testimony at their next meeting on Friday, July 31 at 9:30am. We are organizing the hundreds of law students, faculty, and practitioners who are in favor of diploma privilege to sign up to speak at the Zoom meeting or submit an impact statement so that CBEC can understand the flaws of taking a remote exam and the merits of diploma privilege. You may do so anonymously, in written form, or at the meeting itself.
